INTERMEDIATE FRONT-END DEVELOPER

Restricted to US Residents with proper status

Keeper is a digital memorialization solutions provider driven by passionate people who help individuals, cemeteries, funeral homes, and government agencies create beautiful and meaningful online memorial experiences.

This is a full-time, long-term position for someone looking for a bright career with the opportunity to grow and continuously learn new technologies. While this position focuses on Product Engineering, there are paths that can lead to Managerial and Dev Ops positions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create and optimize web app interfaces, in a simple, clear, and intuitive way using the latest technologies in JavaScript and CSS
• in-depth understanding of creating Progressive Web Applications (PWAs). This includes mastery over the specific technologies, methodologies, and design principles that differentiate PWAs from traditional web applications
• Building and Consuming RESTful APIs
• Ensure the quality of the software delivered with manual and automated testing
• Perform code reviews, code optimization, and performance tuning
• Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and on-budget
• Participate in task breakdown and estimation
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospective

Knowledge and Skills we are looking for:

• 4+ years experience as a Software Developer
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required. (or 8 years of relevant experience)
• Strong knowledge of Agile Methodologies
• Expert in JavaScript or TypeScript, CSS, Accessibility, and Responsive design
• Knowledge of Modern Front-End Frameworks (React Preferred)
• Experience coordinating with other developers
• Good Knowledge of AWS architecture and tools such as CodeCommit, Buckets, Cloud9, Amplify
• Professional experience using GitHub
• Experience implementing third-party APIs and tools (Google Maps, Facebook API, etc.)
